The Davin Observatory

Our Dark Sky Observing location is one of the key benefits of membership in the Regina RASC.
The Davin Observing Site is located on the North side of the small community of Davin Saskatchewan and well placed East of the ancient shoreline which acts as a natural light pollution barrier for Regina.

Astronomical Observing & Imaging take place within the large walled structure which serves to keep both wind and lights out. Picnic tables and cement pads add modest comforts for a night under the stars but improvements to the facility are underway.
David Berrie, when not tossing horse shoes, is the Davin Observing Site director.
