Who Can Be A Member?
Membership is open to everyone with an interest in astronomy. It does not require any knowledge of astronomy (the fun is in the learning!) and you do not have to own a telescope. We enjoy helping beginners because there are so many fascinating things to see.

National
As a member of the RASC, the national office will provide you with:
- A copy of the annual Observer's Handbook, one of the best reference books for astronomers.
- A subscription to the online version of the Journal of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. This magazine-style bulletin contains the latest news in astronomy in Canada. The topics are both amateur and professional in nature.
- A subscription to the Canadian astronomy magazine, SkyNews. An excellent publication, which is published by the National Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa.
- Subscription to the RASC monthly e-bulletin
Regina Centre
- Access to the Kalium Observatory located at the Saskatchewan Science Centre, which houses the Saskatchewan Millennium Telescope: a Meade 12" LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain reflecting telescope.
- Access to the club's two - 8" reflectors and access to the Meade 10" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
- Access to the Dark Sky Observatory located just a half-hour drive outside of Regina. The site houses a polar-aligned pier for astrophotography under the beautiful prairie skies.
- Unlimited Web Site priviledges enabling you to download presentation
- Membership privileges to the Regina Centre's Web site.
- Access to our club's publications and materials, which contain numerous astronomy books, magazines and other resources.
- Access to group functions such as meetings, monthly observing sessions, and special events.

What Does It Cost?
All the benefits mentioned above are yours for a modest fee of $74 per year for adults and $41.00 per year for Youth (under 21 years).

We are part of a national organization, so joining the Regina Centre of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is easy. Just do one of the following:

Ask us how to join. Cheques are accepted.
Meetings: 7:30 p.m. - 1st Friday of the month - Science Centre Auditorium, Enter through IMAX.
You will be asked to fill out a membership application form for the RASC if you want to mail in your cheque to the National Office;
